About me

Hi, I’m Debora.

Nature has been my quiet companion since childhood. Over time, this bond deepened as illustration, photography, and the natural world came together, transforming the way I see and create.

My path led me to a Scientific Initiation at the Botany Institute, where I met Cecília Tomasi, who had worked alongside the British illustrator Margaret Mee. Under Cecília’s guidance, I refined my watercolor techniques, learning to observe nature with patience, precision, and respect.

After completing my PhD, illustration became the heart of my life and practice. From there, my work naturally expanded to porcelain illustration, allowing my art to inhabit new surfaces while maintaining the same dialogue with nature.
